Standing a bit.

Audrey scoots along edges, and likes to show off her standing up skills. She can now stand for 8 seconds or so by herself, without holding on to anything.

Sometimes.

Misappearances

Lucinda had to give up her 5 dummies after her 3rd birthday. She used to take them all with her all the time. She says they have misappeared. “They went into mummy’s dressing gown pocket and they misappeared”. For a couple of days she cried at bedtime, missing her dummies and thinking aloud about all the times they would not be there: in the car, going to bed and lying on the couch without the comfort of her dummies. She lies in bed and cries, and calls them back. “Come back, Dummies. Where are you come back now.”

Riding into his future

Ethan rode a bike for the first time today. He just started pedaling and didn’t stop. It’s another independence milestone, like his first day at school.

See him getting smaller, as he gets bigger?

Don’t ride too far away from us, beautiful boy.
