Stories and pictures from our small lives here at Tasma
We’re stoked because Tahli is staying with us for a ten weeks as she has a very cool job with the Melbourne Fringe. We have missed Josh and Tahli so much since they moved to Sydney.
But look out .. she’s very fierce!
!
See! I told you so!
But then, when you’re babysitting Superman, you have to be.

On the weekend we were clever enough to steal Superman’s nightwear.
I think they look much better on Ethan, don’t you?

Phew. I think we are coming to the end of four years of broken sleep! Ethan, our oldest child, was never much of a sleeper. Lets just say Z was not in his alphabet. Around the time he did learn to sleep through the night, the wonderful Lucinda came screaming into our nights. So we walked around like black-eyed zombies for another 10 months. But last weekend she slept through the night for the first time. ALL the way, baby! Peace returns to Tasma.
While Lucinda and Fiona spent the night at sleep school, Ethan and I had a boys night in. It was great. First Ethan got into a big wheeled Lego crate we had just acquired and we zoomed around the house with him inside with the lid clasped on! We made sure we had lots of crashes. I felt like the Cat in the Hat.
Then we made a huge lego tower which almost scraped the roof. Fabbo!
Cool, sleepy eveningtime. Lucinda is in the middle of a deafening controlled crying program as prescribed by sleep school.
It’s really all of us who take turns crying and it’s not very controlled. It’s heartbreaking.
