We took Ethan along for Fiona’s 21 week ultrasound at the Royal Womens. He’s very very curious about the human body, about how it all works. And he’s curious and excited about his next sibling.
When we were about to go in, I asked him “… are you excited about seeing your new sister or brother?”
He replied: “Almost.”
By the way, it’s a GIRL.
Yup. We’re pregnant again!
Yes, we surprised Fiona for the 10th time in a row, with her 40th birthday at Binh Minh, on Victoria St in Abbotsford. Yeeha! Thanks to everyone!
While Fiona was captured as a fearsome Girl Dragon in the elaborate dragon trap, the cute, but formidable, baby beast Lucinda successfully opened a packet of pasta (something Girl Dragons struggle with on a normal day), and stuffed baby fistfuls of raw pasta into her mouth while kicking the rest around the kitchen floor. Girl Dragon was trapped. It was left to SuperBoy Ethan to save the day…

Now we can all go out on the bikes! We have been waiting for this day, and finally lucinda is just big enough to go on the seat on the back of Fi’s bike, and Ethan pedals away on the Alleycat behind me (see below)! Yay.
